Madam Pho

🍜 Madam Pho in Rhodes serves the kind of food that feels like home — even if you didn’t grow up on it. It’s humble, comforting, and exactly what you want on a day when only a big, steamy bowl or sizzling plate will do.

🥩 The Pho Tai was rich and fragrant, with that clear beef broth that’s been simmered low and slow. The rare beef slices were tender, and once you load it up with herbs, lime, and a bit of chilli — it hits all the right notes.

🥬 The Thit Nuong Cuon (grilled pork rice paper rolls) were fresh and tightly wrapped, with smoky, juicy pork inside and a sweet, nutty dipping sauce that tied it all together. Light but satisfying.

🍚 The Com Chien Thap Cam (mixed fried rice) came hot and packed with texture — little bits of veg, egg, prawns, and that perfect wok-charred flavour. Not too oily, just good, comforting fried rice.

🍳 The Mi Xao Bo (crispy egg noodles with beef) was a standout — crunchy noodles on the edges, soft in the middle from the glossy gravy, with tender beef and stir-fried veg. Warm, savoury, and full of texture — a real comfort dish.

❤️ This is the kind of meal you don’t need to dress up for. Just show up hungry and ready to be looked after. Nothing fancy, just really good food that hits the spot.
