2135, Strathfield – Corn Cheese, Cass and the Coolest Vibe

🍴 I’d heard whispers about 2135 from a few foodie mates and seen it pop up on TikTok now and then, mostly showing off sizzling plates and late-night vibes. So when we found ourselves in Strathfield with an appetite for something casual, delicious and a little bit different, we knew where we were headed.

🎛️ Tucked away in the heart of Strathfield, 2135 feels like one of those hidden gems that locals want to keep to themselves. Industrial cool with exposed brick, neon signs, polished concrete floors and communal tables that practically beg you to stay for hours. Even during the quieter arvo hours, it had a buzz. You can see why it fills up fast once the sun goes down.

🍽️ We kept it simple with three plates and a cold drink and honestly that was plenty.

  • Corn cheese – sweet, creamy, melty goodness served hot and bubbling. One of those dishes you don’t realise you’ve finished until you’re scraping the edges with your spoon.

  • Gyozas – pan-fried perfection. Crispy bottoms, juicy filling and a dipping sauce that ties it all together. Delicious little pockets of happiness.

  • Eggplant bites – these stole the show. Lightly battered, crispy outside and buttery-soft inside. Even if you’re not usually into eggplant, these are worth a try.

🍻 Of course we ordered a Cass. Cold, crisp and the perfect match for everything we ate. It’s not a Korean bar night without one. Next time I’m keen to try one of their drink towers with friends.

👀 Definitely planning to come back at night when the place really comes alive.

📝 2135 nails it. Great food, cool atmosphere and super chill vibes that make you want to settle in. Whether you’re starting a night out or just need a good feed with good company, this spot’s got you. Affordable, tasty and fun – we’ll be back.
