📍 Babe. If you’re anywhere near Caringbah and you haven’t been to Flour Coffee & Dough Room… what are you doing with your life? This place is always heaving and now I totally get why. The smell of fresh bread hits you before you even walk in. It’s warm, it’s loud, it’s got main character energy and honestly I was here for it.

👋 The staff? Angels. Actual angels. So friendly, so unbothered by the chaos, and just really good at making you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time. You know those places where you’re instantly obsessed and low-key want to become a local? Yeah. That.

🥪 OK let’s talk sandwiches. I got the Chicken Caesar Wrap and I’m still thinking about it. Buttermilk fried chicken tenders, crispy cos, parmesan, pickles, confit garlic aioli, bacon and sourdough crumbs — are you kidding me? It’s crunchy and creamy and salty and perfect. Like a Caesar salad and a fried chicken sandwich had a hot baby.

🌈 Then came the Rainbow Sambo on seeded focaccia and honey… it was giving fresh, crunchy goddess energy. Ham, lettuce, cucumber, provolone, alfalfa, pickled beetroot, carrot, tomato and herbed aioli. It’s colourful, it’s balanced, it’s basically a salad in a sandwich but make it fashion. And that focaccia? Baked in house and genuinely out of control. Soft but sturdy. Fluffy but chewy. I would marry it.

🧀 Oh and if you’re into more of a deli vibe, get The Deli — ham, salami, mortadella, peppers, provolone and rocket on that same seeded focaccia. It’s punchy and salty and just a whole moment.

🍞 You can see the bakers doing their thing out the back which just makes it even better. Like yes chef, I see you kneading that dough. We love an open kitchen moment.

🥐 Didn’t grab a pastry this time but they looked phenomenal. Like proper flaky golden buttery goodness. Trust I’ll be back.

🙌 Long story short — if you love good food, good vibes, and bread that makes you emotional, Flour is it. Consider me converted.
