🕵️‍♀️ I’d been hearing about Mimi’s forever—always described as the place for a boujee long lunch with ocean views and OTT seafood. When the stars finally aligned for the perfect occasion to celebrate, Dad’s birthday ❤️, I was READY. Coastal fine dining? Say less.

✨ It’s giving Euro summer at a five-star beach resort. Light, airy interiors, sheer curtains billowing in the breeze, and luxe touches everywhere you look. You’re right on the water and somehow feel a million miles away.

🤵‍♀️ Service was impeccable. Every dish was introduced like it was the guest of honour. Friendly without being overbearing, professional without feeling cold. They really make the experience feel special from start to finish.

🍸 We kicked off with caviar bumps + frozen vodka—salty, icy, and iconic.

🍽️ We went in. Here’s what we had:

  • Tuna crudo – buttery, fresh, toasty perfection.

  • Scallops – seared just right, melt-in-your-mouth good.

  • Spanner crab toast – sweet crab on pillowy, golden salted brioche. I’d eat this every day.

  • Lobster pasta – the star. Handmade pasta swimming in a rich, glossy bisque. So luxe.

  • Steak – unexpectedly one of my faves. Juicy, full of flavour, cooked perfectly.

  • Shaved ice dessert – playful, refreshing, the perfect finish.

  • Caviar bumps – because when in Mimi’s…

🔁 Next time? The caviar pie for sure. I’ve also got my eye on the bake specials and literally every dessert. Would love to come back for sunset and just order pasta, bread and bubbles. Vibes.
