Toby’s Milkbar
Toby’s Milkbar had been sitting high on my “must-devour” list. Let me tell you – it’s not just a vibe, it’s a whole event. Run by the beloved Sydney food brothers, this place is bringing that nostalgic milkbar magic into the now with their food truck.
🌀 Think old-school milkbar meets new-school cool. It’s got retro charm in spades – retro signage, playful fonts, and that warm, welcoming energy only true food lovers know how to curate. You walk in and instantly feel like you’ve stepped into a graffiti filled food truck heaven.
👨🍳 These guys aren’t just flipping burgers and swirling milkshakes – they’re crafting an experience. The Sydney food brothers are all about quality and passion. You can feel it in the service, the chat, and definitely in the food.
🌀 I kicked things off with a cinnamon scroll – fluffy, golden, glazed perfection. It had that perfect cinnamon-to-dough ratio – sweet, sticky, and made to be pulled apart slowly (or inhaled in two bites, no judgment here). An instant classic.
🍫🥥 Then came the iced coconut chocolate and OH MY. Holy Bounty bar in a cup. Rich chocolate meets creamy coconut, topped with whipped cream and generous coconut shavings. Every sip felt like a tropical getaway with serious dessert energy. I could honestly drink this daily – no regrets.
🥪 Finished strong with a ham and provolone focaccia. Crispy-edged, fluffy-centred, layered with thinly-cut ham and gooey provolone. It was salty, cheesy, toasted to absolute heaven and the kind of bite that makes you go quiet for a moment (out of respect).
🔥 Tony’s Milkbar isn’t just hyped – it’s living up to it and then some. Add it to your must-visit list, go hungry, and prepare to leave obsessed.
